I know that being a single mom means that there will be challenges; there will be times of difficulty and uncertainty. But I know that one thing is for certain and that is my faith in God. God has always been there for me, especially during this season of being a single mom and I am so grateful for that. He has encouraged me through His word and His promises to me. It is so great to be able to feel inspired and encouraged by His Word, regardless of what we are going through or where we are heading in life. This is why I want to share with you some inspiring bible verses for single moms, to help you on your journey too.
I quite enjoy being a single mom. It can be lonesome at times, and there are many struggles that come with it. But being a single mom has always allowed me to grow in the faith, to become a better Christian and a better person. These times have inspired me to be the best person that I can be, and to truly love and accept myself for who I am, and who created me.
Here are 20 inspiring bible verses for single moms:
Inspiring Bible Verses For Single Moms In The Old Testament:
1. Proverbs Bible Verses For Single Moms: Proverbs 3:5-6
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.
Always put your faith and trust in God. We don’t always know what is going to happen with us in the future and this is the best time to lean on God for understanding.
2. Proverbs 31:17, 25
“She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms…Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come”.
Girl, you are strong! Please know that. Proverbs 31:25 is one of my favorite verses and is the foundation for my blog, Clothed With Dignity. Clothe yourself with strength and dignity and you will be able to achieve so much.
3. Jeremiah 33:3
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not”.
This verse is pretty self explanatory. Call unto God and He will show you such wonderful things that you couldn’t even imagine.
4. Isaiah 40:31
“But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”.
You strength comes from God. He will renew it in times of weakness, and He will make sure that you will get the rest and recharge that you need.
5. Isaiah 41:13
“For I the Lord thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee”.
Do not be afraid of what you are going through, God is here for you. He will hold your hand and help you through everything that you are going through.
6. Isaiah 43:1-2
“But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee”.
God created you; He knew you before you were born. He has chosen you and called upon you. You are His. In everything that you face, He will be there for you and make sure that you will be protected and guided on the right path.
7. Ecclesiastes 3:1
“To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:”.
In Ecclesiastes 3 it talks about there being a time for everything. Right now, you are in a time where you are a single mom, and that’s okay. God has a plan for you and He will always be there for you. If you are single and struggling, please know that you are not alone. Read this letter I wrote to all single Christian women.
8. Joshua 1:9
“Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest”.
Hands down one of my favorite bible verse. Joshua 1:9 illustrates the importance of not being afraid, and to know that God will always be with you no matter where you go.
9. Psalms Bible Verses For Single Moms: Psalm 4:8
“I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for thou, Lord, only makest me dwell in safety”.
God keeps us safe! We can lay down in peace knowing that He is protecting us!
10. Psalm 16:5
“The Lord is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot”.
If God is all you have, then God is all you need! God is your “portion” and your “cup” (meaning condition in life).
11. Psalm 107:1
“ O give thanks unto the Lord, for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever”.
God is good! His mercy lasts forever. What a wonderful God we serve!
Inspiring Bible Verses For Single Moms In The New Testament:
12. Matthew 11:28
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.
If you need rest, God will provide it to you! Come to Him, and He will give you the peace and rest that you need.
13. Matthew 19:26
“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible”.
There is nothing that is impossible for God. You can talk to God about anything and ask Him about everything! He will help you through all that you are going through; nothing will be a challenge for Him.
14. Romans 8:38-39
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
God’s love is so powerful, so strong, and nothing can separate us from His love for us. He loved us so much that He sent His one and only begotten son into the world to die for our sins; for the sins of the whole world.
15. Philippians 4:6, 9
“Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God…Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you”.
Give thanks to God in all that you do and receive. Let all of your requests be known to God in prayer. The peace of God is within you. What a glorious God that we serve!
16. 1 Corinthians 16:13-14
“Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity”.
Stand firm in your faith and be strong! Do not quit! Do not give up! And let everything that you do be done in love. This is so important especially as single moms!
17. 2 Corinthians 12:9
“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me”.
Paul was talking about the thorn in his flesh and repeatedly asked Jesus to remove it. He then started to see this moment of weakness as a chance to grow stronger in the faith. Our weaknesses can shape us and help us become stronger as Christians. Start to see things from a different perspective and pray about what God wants you to do during these times of weakness, in order to grow.
18. 2 Thessalonians 3:3, 16
“But the Lord is faithful, who shall stablish you, and keep you from evil…Now the Lord of peace himself give you peace always by all means. The Lord be with you all”.
God is with you 24/7. He is faithful and will keep you from evil.
19. Romans 15:13
“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost”.
God will fill you with joy and peace as you trust in Him. He will overflow you with hope through the Holy Spirit. This is such a beautiful verse!
20. 1 Peter 5:7
“Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you”.
God wants you to talk to Him; He wants you to come to Him and talk to Him about your struggles. God cares about you and wants to help you so cast all of your care upon Him today!
No matter what we are going through, or what is going to happen in our future, we need to trust God because He is our maker. He is omnipresent and omnipotent; therefore He knows everything about every single one of us, past, present and future.
He loves you so much. His love is unconditional and everlasting. He created you; He knows every single thing about you and He wants you to get to know Him too.
God adores you. You are His child. He will leave the 99 just to save you. He sent His one and only begotten son into the world to be the perfect sacrifice for your sins, and for the sins of the whole world. Jesus took the punishment for your sins. He shed His blood for you so that you wouldn’t have to suffer the way that He did.

HOW I GOT MY HUSBAND BACK WITH THE HELP OF DR ZUZUA
After my husband of 16 years broke up with me, I could barely speak without crying. I felt blindsided and didn’t know what to do. I didn’t know if I could get him back and the anxiety was unbearable. I contacted Dr ZUZUA on Whats-App via [+918200232522], not knowing fully what to expect but knowing I needed somebody who had been there for others before. I wanted our marriage back and so I wanted to make sure I had all the guidance and resources possible to do that. Dr ZUZUA was simply wonderful. His presence is calming and I could tell that he genuinely cared. With his powerful spell he suggested I do to get [my husband] back seemed difficult. But I knew I wanted to get him back, so I followed and did all that was required for the spell that Dr ZUZUA laid out for me. Within the week, we were back together as easily as I never thought, and we are so in love! I know that it doesn’t always happen that quickly, in my case, it could happen that soon – and it did! I’m so grateful and can say that if you have been broken up with and want to get that person back, Dr ZUZUZ is the best! I’ll never forget how much he helped me with his powerful spell!
