30 Bible Verses To Encourage Single Women
Dear all single women,
I understand that it can be hard and lonesomeness when you don’t have a boyfriend or spouse. I understand that it can make you feel sad and insecure. I understand that it can make you feel impatient or as though the days are going by faster and faster and yet you don’t see any husband potentials coming your way or your prayers being answered yet. But know this: your worth is found in Jesus Christ and not anyone else. You are never alone when you have God, who is always there for you. Life isn’t about boyfriends or marriages, it is about having a relationship with Jesus Christ, and having faith and trust in Him alone, doing His will on earth. Stay in prayer, continue to turn to God whenever you are feeling down or lonely, and be patient too. If He calls you to singleness, you will know, if He has a husband wanting for you, you will soon find out. For now, use this time to enjoy being with yourself, bettering yourself and growing in the faith.
This is why I created Clothed With Dignity (derived from Proverbs 31:25). Clothed With Dignity is all about encouraging women to be strong, honorable and faithful to God. We also support and encourage those who are single Christian women, and waiting on the one (given that I, myself, am a Single Christian woman!) Check out my latest post about whether or not single Christians can become a Proverbs 31 woman here.
Encouragement for Single Women
To all you single women out there, I know that it can be lonely and hard at times, but God is always there for us; He will never leave us or forsake us. I know that it can feel like your prayers might not be getting answered if you are praying for a Husband but haven’t seen anything come to fruition yet, or that you feel as though you might be alone forever, or perhaps that you might not even want to settle down and have a Husband (and children too). It’s understandable and quite normal to feel and think these things. But you shouldn’t have to entertain these thoughts and emotions though.
Turn to The Word when you are feeling sad or lonely, or impatient or unsure of what the future may hold. God has all of the answers for us in His Word, and it is so important to keep reading the Bible and communicating with God too. Give everything to God in prayer and have complete faith and trust in Him alone. He knows everything about us and what is going to happen in our lives. He has a plan for us and we just need to let Him take the reigns and guide us on the straight and narrow.
